When do you begin booking homes for the 2018 Masters?

We began booking homes as soon as the Masters ended in April.

What type of deposit is required?

Please contact Masters Housing Bureau personnel for deposit requirements.

Is the deposit refundable?

If you cancel your reservation, all payments will be retained by the homeowner as compensation for the time the property was withheld from the rental market. However, if Masters Housing or the homeowner is able to rent this property to someone else, all monies will be applied to any loss incurred by the homeowner, and the balance, if any, will be repaid to you.

Can I pay by credit card?

Please contact Masters Housing Bureau staff for available methods of payment.

What are the dates of the 2018 Masters?

The 2018 Masters will be played April 2-8.

How can I contact the Augusta National about my tickets & any questions?

The main number for the Augusta National is (706) 667-6000. The Masters Ticket office number is (706) 667-6700.

Can I rent a home for less than a full week?

Most homeowners offer 3, 4, 5 and 7 night rates. Many homes in the more sought after areas will require a full week rental. Masters Housing Bureau works expertly on your behalf to customize your needs and identify property owners offering partial week rentals suited to the days you will be visiting.

Are rental rates negotiable?

Most homeowners will consider a reasonable offer.

Can Masters Housing help me obtain tickets and badges?

No. Masters Housing Bureau does not solicit, broker, purchase, package or sell tickets.

Is maid service included in the rental rate?

Maid service is often included in the rate or provided at an additional charge. If you wish to pay for maid service, it typically runs $50-$125 per day, depending on the size of the home.

Can I check-out on Monday after the Tournament ends?

Many homeowners will allow Monday check-out, however, should this result in an eighth night rental, you will be charged an additional night’s rate.

Who do I contact if there is a problem during my stay?

Please contact the homeower first. Homeowners are required to provide an emergency contact number and you will be provided with that information. If the Homeowner is not availabe then contact Masters Housing Bureau. Masters Housing Bureau prides itself on having staff available during tournament week to assist renters with questions, referrals for services, directions and other needs that may arise for our clients.

Can I cook in the home?

You have full access to the home and all its amenities. However, for entertaining large groups this could be considered a "host" home and there could be an additional charge. A host home is typically a home where there is a large amount of entertaining, lots of people coming and going or tent set up, etc.

Can I smoke in the home?

All rentals are "NO SMOKING" unless otherwise stated in writing with prior approval from the homeowner.

What if there are damages to the home?

All renters sign a rental agreement that states: Renter agrees that they are liable to the homeowner for all losses and damages to the rental property and/or its contents during the term of the rental agreement. This does not include normal wear and tear. Masters Housing will help to coordinate communications and resolution but assumes no responsibility for damages incurred as a result of any actions by either the renter or the homeowner.

What if the accommodations are not as advertised?

The property information is provided by the homeowner and is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed and is subject to verification. Every effort has been made to ensure accurate information. Masters Housing shall not be a party to the rental agreement between the Renter and the Homeowner. Renter hereby releases Masters Housing Bureau, the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and Augusta National, Inc. from any and all claims arising out of the agreement between the renter and the homeowner.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time will be arranged with the homeowner. However, please notify Masters Housing Bureau of your anticipated check-in and check-out times when you book your property. Check-out time is usually 12:00 P.M. Many homeowners are flexible in this regard.

How do I receive keys and take possession of the home?

You should contact the homeowner well in advance prior to your arrival to arrange a time and place to receive keys and take possession. Many homeowners, who have been renting for years, have designated places where they leave keys. Others may prefer to meet their renters and show them around their home.
